Our Approach to Materials
At Peuriste, we believe period care deserves thoughtful material choices and greater transparency. We consider comfort, performance and everyday use in the products we create, while carefully evaluating the materials and standards behind them.
Our commitment to informed choices is reflected in the certifications and standards relevant to our products and materials, including the USDA National Organic Program, Ecocert Organic Standard, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and GOTS.
A More Thoughtful Approach to Plastic
Disposable period products need different materials to provide absorbency, structure and protection. Where we can, we look for ways to reduce conventional plastic and use alternatives that make sense for the product.
From plant-based PLA film in our pad wrappers to FSC-certified paper packaging, we consider the materials used throughout the product and its packaging, not just one part of it.
